Gone Green

The first time I laid my eyes on you, i'm hooked. Although I tried to look away, you never left my mind, not even a sec. All my life i've been waiting for you to come. It was like, you're THE ONE.

And so, with eyelash batting, I went back to where you were and grabbed you at once. Since then, you've been a constant favorite. You made me feel and look fresh with those floral prints. Incidentally too, going green is the current hype.

Also found a cutie accessory to stand by me :)

Although you're good with flats, 'spring popped up everywhere in the valley' with added height.

Till our next adventure together...

Luis' 8th Bday in Legoland Malaysia

At Last! The opening of Legoland Malaysia.

Yes, Luis' 8th birthday gift was revealed. And his face was wrapped with excitement and he was giggling endlessly. I made sure he will be there at the day of the opening of the first Legoland amusement park in Asia, and the sixth in the world! (some of the other locations are in Germany, USA, and Denmark.) Something I cannot afford my son to miss. We booked ourselves at Orchard Hotel in Singapore and hopped to buses going to Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

LEGOLAND Malaysia is packed full of family fun with more than 40 rides, shows and attractions. Almost everything is hands-on, so you can push, pedal and program, or steer, squirt and splash, your way through a truly interactive experience – and of course there’s building too.

LEGOLAND Malaysia has seven themed areas of attractions for all ages such as The Beginning, LEGO® Technic, LEGO Kingdoms, Imagination, LEGO City, Land of Adventure and MINILAND. It’s an inspirational land where the children are the heroes. From LEGO experiment centres to rollercoasters, the park is a day-long voyage of discovery for all the family.

The centrepiece is MINILAND, where Asian landmarks have been recreated using more than 30 million LEGO bricks. It’s an interactive world on a scale of 1:20, where people, trains and aeroplanes come to life at the touch of a button. (will make a separate post just for Miniland as this, for us, serves the highlight of the whole amusement park.)

Of course, to beat the long queue at the counters during the opening, we had our annual pass arranged before we flew in(they also have day passes, which are cheaper of course, but we opted for the annual pass so we could go back next year once the Legoland Hotel is built). These were ready when we got there. No sweat :)

Now the pics...

Not All Skeletons Are Bones

As expected, the halloween aisle in the mall is picked over during this time. You just wanted to get anything that's available in a jiffy and leave. Actually, what I had in mind this year was a little bit different as compared to the past years. This time, I thought Luis would be more effective with a look that's funny than scary.

And so for this halloween, I decided on a skeleton costume for him. Haha! I know, right? =)

Although the skeleton costume is a bit too common, I didn't doubt getting it. In fact, as soon as I saw it, the idea came across at once.

Aside from it being simple and easy on the budget, I thought this outfit has hit my goal bulls-eye! It perfectly works to my objective - funny than scary.

The skeleton boy also gets tired after going around the streets for treats. Who wouldn't?

I thought he actually fell asleep here but no, he was playing a part. The stairs here is part of my bro's house transformed into a haunted one.

The haunted house - a yearly attraction for trick-or-treaters.

Not all skeletons are bones! And not all are as cute :-) And not more than one is this healthy =)
